Founded in 2005, ChIPs (Chiefs in Intellectual Property) is a global non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing women in intellectual property, technology, and related fields. With a dynamic community of over 7,000 members and 31 chapters worldwide, ChIPs fosters innovation, leadership, and professional growth.
The ChIPs Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Chapter, established in 2019, plays a pivotal role within this global network. It provides a dedicated platform for women professionals in Australia and New Zealand, offering mentorship programs, leadership development, and networking opportunities tailored to the region’s unique challenges and opportunities.
Through industry events, policy discussions, and collaborative initiatives, ChIPs ANZ champions an inclusive and supportive environment where women in IP and technology can thrive and drive meaningful impact. The chapter facilitates mentorship programs and leadership development, empowering women to break barriers, build strong professional networks, and influence key policies shaping the future of the industry.
Sarah’s involvement with ChIPs ANZ will enable her to engage with a distinguished network of professionals, contribute to diversity and inclusion efforts, and advocate for gender equality within the IP and technology sectors.
As part of her engagement, Sarah will attend the 2025 ChIPs Global Summit, which will take place from 15-17 October 15-17 2025, at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. This premier event brings together thought leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss innovation, leadership, and diversity in intellectual property and technology.
